1. Overview
PicVox lets you capture photos, create stickers, record voice for each sticker, and view them in a gallery. We do not collect, transmit, or store your data on our servers. All data described below stays on your device.
2. Information We Process on Your Device
2.1 Photos and stickers
When you take a photo, the App uses the camera to capture an image and processes it on your device to create a sticker (e.g. removing the background). Sticker images are stored only on your device. We do not upload or store them elsewhere.
2.2 Voice recordings
If you choose to record voice for a sticker, the App uses the microphone and stores the audio only on your device. We do not send or store your recordings on our servers.
2.3 Profile information
You can set a display name and a profile photo (avatar) in the App. This information is stored only on your device. We do not collect or transmit it.
2.4 Reminder settings
If you turn on daily reminders, the App stores your preferred time only on your device and uses the system's local notification service. No reminder data is sent to us.
2.5 No account required
PicVox does not require you to create an account or log in. There is no user account data stored on our side.
3. Device Permissions
The App may request access to: Camera (to take photos and create stickers), Microphone (to record voice for stickers), Photo Library (to pick a photo for your avatar). You can revoke these in your device Settings → Privacy.
4. Data Storage and Retention
All data is stored only on your device, until you delete it (e.g. by deleting a sticker in the Gallery or removing the App) or until you clear the App's data.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. We do not transmit your photos, voice recordings, or profile data to our servers or to analytics or advertising partners.
6. Children's Privacy
PicVox can be used by people of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. All data stays on the user's device.
7. Third-Party Services
The App uses Apple system frameworks (Camera, Microphone, Notifications, Photo Library) and Apple's SwiftData for local storage. Processing happens on your device. We do not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or social SDKs that would collect your data.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Your data lives on your device. You can delete individual stickers (long-press in the Gallery) or remove the App to delete all App data. You can change camera, microphone, or photo library access at any time in your device Settings.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
